Volume 69 (2016)
Semiannual (June, December)
Revista Hispánica Moderna
In addition to regular submissions, Revista Hispánica Moderna is accepting articles for a special issue on the history of the book. We welcome essays (both within and beyond the boundaries of Latin American and Iberian studies) that reflect on the book from its prehistory to its present—and beyond.
The average length of our articles is about 8,000 words (in either English or Spanish), and the deadline for submissions is September 1, 2016. You may find a description of the special issue and full guidelines here.
The ultimate goal of this issue is not only to offer an exhaustive picture of the field of study, but also to challenge and expand it. We sincerely hope that you will consider joining us in this pursuit.
Founded in 1934 as Boletín del Instituto de las Españas at Columbia University, Revista Hispánica Moderna has been regarded since as one of the most distinguished international venues for academic research in Spanish. RHM is a semiannual peer-reviewed journal committed to the dissemination of outstanding scholarship on Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian literary and cultural studies. It publishes essays and book reviews in Spanish, English, or Portuguese on the full spectrum of Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian cultural production in Europe, Latin America, and the United States, and in all historical periods, from the Middle Ages to the present.
The journal continually accepts submissions. Please send manuscripts for consideration, in Microsoft Word, to: email@example.com.
